King’s Warrington to host leading education event

Over 300 teachers, schools and academy leaders from across the UK will gather at King’s Leadership Academy Warrington on 23 April 2022 for a one-day conference to share knowledge and experience about the latest best practices in education.

Our academy and the Great Schools Trust, will be hosting the prestigious researchED
event which attracts leading academics and educationalists to speak.

researchED holds events around the world and being selected to host one is recognition of the Great Schools Trust and its King’s Leadership Academies’ reputation on defining and setting standards of excellence whilst maintaining the highest expectations for student achievement within its academies.

Delegates attending the conference will hear from more than 40 speakers addressing topical issues
affecting multi-academy trusts, schools, teachers and pupils.

The event is being arranged by Mike Chiles, an author and senior leader at King’s Leadership Academy Warrington.

He commented: “To be hosting researchED is a real accolade for Great Schools Trust and, in
particular for us here at King’s Warrington. These events attract speakers who are leaders in their
field so it means there is always so much to learn which makes them key events for any teacher to
attend. Having an insight into the latest thinking and approaches ultimately benefits the students we
teach.

“It will also be a great opportunity for us to showcase our academy here in Warrington.”

As well as the King’s Leadership Academy in Warrington, the Great Schools Trust has two academies
in Liverpool and one in Bolton with a further two 11-16 free schools currently in development.
